WCA
Join the outreach efforts by prepping kits for the Clothesline Project Displays! You'll make bags/boxes containing the shirts, pins, instructions, and other outreach materials for the display hosts organizations. September 8th - 11th 11:00 am - 1:00 pm About the Clothesline Project (CLP): The Clothesline Project began in 1990 in Hyannis, Massachusetts, to give survivors of domestic and sexual violence a powerful, visible voice. Each t-shirt on the clothesline represents a personal story of trauma, resilience, and healing. Since 1998, the WCA has curated local displays featuring shirts created by participants in our survivor support programs (including adults and children) here in Boise. Each display acts as a poignant reminder of the impact of abuse, and a call to action to create a safer, more supportive community.
